Itinerary

Location: Arusha Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Tulia Boutique & Spa for check-in. A city sightseeing tour is included in the day’s activities. This excursion will take you to local markets, the Maasai Market, the Cultural Heritage Center, and the Arusha City Museum. Location: Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Region) After a tour briefing, set off from Arusha with packed lunches for a scenic drive to the Ndutu region, approximately 5.5 hours covering 260 km. On the way, enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, observing the shift from hilly forests to sweeping grasslands. The Ndutu region, part of the Serengeti ecosystem, is a key destination during the great migration, particularly from December to April when wildebeest calving attracts predators like lions and cheetahs. Game drives will explore these fertile plains and waterholes like Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek, rich with wildlife throughout the year. Location: Ngorongoro After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the Ndutu area to witness its abundant wildlife. Following a half-day safari and a picnic lunch, begin the journey to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The 75 km drive takes approximately 2.5 hours, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable geological wonders, known for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. Location: Ngorongoro Start the day early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater floor at around 6:30 am, after a quick breakfast. This vast, unspoiled caldera spans 260 sq. km with a depth of over 2,000 feet, offering one of the most concentrated wildlife viewing experiences in Africa. During the 5-6 hour game drive, spot animals such as elephants, black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, along with many other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the serene hippo pool before ascending the crater and beginning the return drive to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha or transferred to the airport.
