The 6-day Marangu Route, often called the “Coca-Cola Route,” is a favorite for climbers seeking a less challenging and more comfortable ascent of Kilimanjaro. It’s the only route with shared hut accommodations, providing shelter from the elements and a different experience compared to tented camping. This scenic route takes you through lush rainforest, open moorlands, and breathtaking views of Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. Whether you’re trekking solo or with a group, the climb is completely private. While the trek itself takes 6 days on the mountain, the full itinerary spans 8 days, including arrival and departure.
