Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Attend a pre-climb briefing with your guide to go over the itinerary, safety protocols, and equipment checks. Overnight at a hotel in Mosh
After breakfast, drive to Machame Gate (1,800m) for registration. Begin your trek through lush rainforest, with sightings of monkeys and exotic birds. Arrive at Machame Camp after a 5–7 hour hike.
Leave the rainforest behind as the trail ascends into heather and moorland. Enjoy stunning views of Kibo Peak and Mount Meru as you make your way to Shira Camp. Trekking time: 4–6 hours.
Climb steadily to Lava Tower, an important acclimatization point. Descend to Barranco Camp (3,950m) through the beautiful but challenging Great Barranco Valley. Trekking time: 6–8 hours.
Conquer the Barranco Wall, a thrilling yet manageable scramble. Traverse alpine desert terrain to reach Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit push. Trekking time: 7–9 hours.
Begin your summit attempt around midnight, climbing through steep scree to Stella Point. Continue to Uhuru Peak, the roof of Africa. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Mweka Camp for well-deserved rest. Trekking time: 10–14 hours.
Finish your trek with a descent through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate and transfer back to Moshi for a relaxing evening.
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure or continue exploring Tanzania with a safari or beach extension.
